Hellboy R

This custom has been done for a custom contest on 12inch.com forum.

Theme of the contest was "reinterpret a person, real or fictive"

I chose Hellboy, as I didn't knew what to do with this Gundam 1/35 mechanical arm...

So I put it on a Kaustik Plastik KP02 body, arranged with all accessories you can see here.

I used the headsculpt of a dismembered T-800 T1 Hot Toys, scalped , and recreated hair in a japanese look like Hellboy has.

The helmet is from a Final Fantasy figure, I made horns with miliput, accessories from anywhere, and painted the whole thing...

The burning cigar was made with plastic sprue from any model kit I had under my hand at this time...

A docking station for the helmet is on the right shoulder, the gun holster is home-made, the belt and its buckle are from a WWII German grenadier...

After making the Abe Sapiens R, I realized that this figure lacked some style, so I updated it with a little work...
I made a double light-up circuit that fits in the helmet, to light-up a red led inside and a torch outside to match the design...
I took a coat from Ryo Saeba and then, damaged it to match the appearance of a Hellboy, it's way better than the short jacket it had before.

I molded, reproduced and customized a big gun from Starcraft's Raynor to make a decent "big baby".
And, finally, I repaint the headsculpt, to make it look more aged.

And I love the result, it's finally as I imagined him at the first thought !
